In the past i have focused on a lot of hidden cameras, but as I've said before it's interesting to see how they have evolved and improved. For instance, take this little piece of spy gear, and i mean little very literally.

A hidden camera the size of a button. Thats right, a button. It measures a mere 33 x 25 x 20 millimeters so you wont be wearing a bulky hidden camera at all. If you need to perform subtle surveillance, and you cant afford to be caught with a hidden camera, this would be the ideal solution.

It records sound and video, through the use of a small pinhole camera and an on board sound chip. The best part of this button, is that you can use it with a surveillance recorder, and transmit a live feed to be recorded completely remotely.

This could be used by employees in malls and supermarkets to catch shoplifters without being the wiser. They can carry on with their work, while store security monitors the surveillance footage of the areas the employee is working in. So its cost effective, as well as being an effective anti theft tool.

As I have said, this spy gear can be used for a wide range of reasons, be they security or just for fun. The only drawback being that you need to buy a battery holder, or a lithium ion batter and charger for it, but these are small drawbacks if you think about what the device can do for you. Just make sure you remove it before you wash your shirt though.
